The City shall not be held liable if an interested bidder or proposer is unable to submit a complete bid/response before the published deadline due to transmission delays or any other technical issues or obstructions. The City strongly recommends allowing sufficient time to complete the submission process (ideally a week before the deadline) to begin the uploading process and to finalize your submission to give adequate time in the event an issue arises. The major work will consist of the (approximate) following: 53,600 SY 11" Pavement Pulverization 53,600 SY 3" Asphalt Pavement Surface Course, Type D 1,408 LF Remove and Replace Concrete Curb & Gutter 5,082 SF Remove and Replace Concrete Driveway 600 LF Pavement Marking PREQUALIFICATION Certain improvements included in this project must be performed by a contractor or designated subcontractor who is pre-qualified by the City at the time of bid opening. Questions Due Date: Oct 7th 2024, 2:00 PM CDT The procedures for qualification and pre-qualification are outlined in the Section 3 of 00 21 13 - INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Prebid info : If a prebid conference is not being held, prospective bidders should direct all questions about the meaning and intent of the Bidding Documents online through the Vendors discussions section under the respective Project via online. If necessary, Addenda will be issued pursuant to the Instructions to Bidders. CITY'S RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT BIDS City reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids. AWARD City will award a contract to the Bidder presenting the lowest price, qualifications and competencies considered.
