Carpentry Services at PHA Scattered Sites Types of work in this section include, but are not limited to rough carpentry for: 1. Wood framing, including rafters, plates. etc. 2. Plywood sheathing. Coordination: Fit carpentry work to other work; scribe and cope as required for accurate fit. Correlate location of furring, nailers, blocking, grounds and similar supports to allow attachment of other work. Bids must be accompanied by a $500.00 bid guarantee, non-collusive affidavit, EEO form and Minnesota Responsible Contractor Compliance Affidavit. The successful bidder will be required to furnish both a satisfactory performance bond and a separate payment bond. The PHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. This Contract will commence upon issuance of the "Notice to Proceed" and will remain in effect for one (1) calendar year. Upon mutual agreement between the PHA and the Contractor, this Contract may be extended for one (1) additional calendar year, up to four (4) times, for a total contract duration of five (5) calendar years. The PHA will give the Contractor a notice at least 45 days prior to the end of the contract term to negotiate the following year. The Contractor shall be allowed to re-negotiate the unit price contained in the contract at the end of each year based upon changes in wage rates for the duration of the Contract.
