Request for Proposal Cowley Cemetery Fence Replacement The cemetery is located on Lane 8 1/2 southeast of town. The project includes: Remove and dispose of the existing fence on the West, South and East sides of the cemetery (sketch available). The West and South sides are 100% vinyl while the East side is approximately 75% vinyl and 25% chain link. Provide and install new 5 ft. tall black vinyl coated chain link fencing on all three sides. Include a 20 ft. sliding (one panel or two) gate in the center of the South fence. If possible, utilize holes left from the removal of the existing fence for the posts of the new one. If not feasible, the abandoned holes will have to be reclaimed (filled with compacted sand) by the successful bidder. Post backfill shall be concrete. Note: A temporary electric fence may be required to keep grazing animals out of the cemetery if the work is done in the winter. There is one installed now to protect the vinyl fence. Any foliage that may need to be removed to complete the project shall be the responsibility of the successful bidder.
