Expansion of the South Valley's Regional Park located at 16050 Wedge Parkway, Washoe County, Nevada. Work includes demolition and removal of existing facilities. Grading of the site per the plans and specifications. Placement and compaction of fill and aggregate base. Placement and compaction of asphaltic concrete for roadways and parking lots. Placement of Portland Cement Concrete for sidewalk, curb and gutter, valley gutters, median islands, etc. Installation of traffic control devices such as striping, signage, and speed tables. Installation of storm, sewer, and irrigation lines. Installation of lighting and electrical equipment. Installation of landscaping and irrigation controls. For a complete list of work see bid schedule. All work shall be per the plans and specifications. The Contractor agrees that it will before this Contract becomes effective, furnish the Owner a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, furnished by a company or companies acceptable to the Owner, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract sum. Time of Completion The Work to be performed under this Agreement shall be completed within two hundred forty (240) calendar days of the "Notice to Proceed". Should the Contractor fail or refuse to complete the work within that time, along with any authorized extensions of time, there shall be deducted from monies due it, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages, the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each additional calendar day required to complete the work. Base Bid is estimated at $1,500,000 to $1,750,000. The estimate for all four alternates is $450,000 to $550,00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
