Reference Number: 0000363534 Qualified contractors to furnish all labor materials and equipment required to eliminate all "Detrimental Vegetation" growing in the Towns "West Springfield Flood Protection System" (WSFPS) 17.3 acres of riprap stone slope areas in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30B. Minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive are to be paid. This contract will be awarded only to a responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets all of the requirements in the specifications. The contract shall be awarded by the Chief Procurement Officer, which reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in part or in whole, any and all proposals or to take whatever action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of West Springfield. Bids will remain firm for sixty (60) days following the opening of proposals.
