This work consists of the construction of storm drainage improvements. The work to be performed by the General Contractor consists of but is not limited to the following major items: o Site clearing, grading, excavation, pavement removal, tree removal and erosion control. o Installation of Stormwater Infrastructure. o Concrete Work. o Asphalt Replacement/Repair. o This work shall also consist of the installation of new storm drain pipe, catch basins, headwalls, and associated appurtenances as per the dimensions and shown on the plans, and as stipulated in the contract bid specifications. o All work shall comply with all Federal, State, and local requirements and specifications. o The latest GDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the Georgia Department of Transportation, shall govern the construction of this project. Questions regarding bids should be submitted to Steve Murray, Purchasing Director, via email at steve.murray@lawrencevillega.org no later than 3:00 p.m. local time, October 21, 2024. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. A five percent (5%) bid bond must be submitted with the bid. Successful contractor will be required to provide a one hundred percent (100%) payment and one hundred percent (100%) performance bond as well as an insurance certificate fulfilling requirements as stated in the bid documents. Award will be made to the contractor submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid. The City of Lawrenceville reserves the right to reject any or all bids to waive technicalities and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Bids may be split or awarded in entirety
