The deadline to ask questions is 10/09/2024 10:00 AM CST Scope of Project: The scope of this work includes, but is not limited to: Water Plant 1: Contractor to furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and appurtenances to remove and replace interior access ladder and vent screens; to power wash, abrasive blast, and recoat interior and exterior surfaces, associated piping and appurtenances of 420,000-gallon welded steel Ground Storage Tank No. 2 and all aboveground yard piping on site; include shrouding. Generator enclosure to be recoated. Water Plant 2: Contractor to furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and appurtenances to abrasive blast and recoat interior and exterior surfaces, associated piping and appurtenances of 20,000-gallon welded steel Hydropneumatic Tank No. 1. Include shrouding. Site restoration for both sites. All work shall be completed in place and in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. A cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance, payment and maintenance bonds for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Additional Notes Contractor is required to submit TEC Form 1295 (Certificate of Interested Parties) with their bid. If plans, specifications and bid documents are not initially available for download, they will be available for review at the office of the Engineer. The Front Office and Receptionist Desk are located on the 5th floor (Suite 500).
