The project consists of the removal, rehabilitation, and replacement of three raw water intake pumps and the replacement of butterfly and check valves at the City of Wilmington Raw Water Pump Caisson Start Date: 10/14/24 Pump Rehab #1: 10/21/24 Pump Rehab #2: 11/4/24 Pump Rehab #3: 11/18/24 Completion Date: 12/15/24 Scope of the Work - The Contractor shall perform within the time stipulated, the Contract as herein defined of which this agreement is a component part and everything required to be performed and shall provide and furnish any and all of the labor and materials together with all tools, equipment and all utility and transportation services necessary to perform the Contract and complete in a workmanlike manner all the work covered by the Contract in connection with the Owner's Project identified as: Wilmington Raw Water Intake Pump Rehabilitation in strict conformity with the Proposal, Plans, and Specifications including any and all Addenda issued by the Owner with the other Contract Documents. Failure to Complete on Time - If the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time allowed 60 days, the Owner, for each Calendar Day that any work shall remain uncompleted after the Contract completion date shall charge $400.00 per Calendar Day as liquidated damages from money due the Contractor. The Owner may waive such portions of the liquidated damages as may accrue after the work is in condition for safe and convenient use by the Public.
