The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board (HSCDSB) has facilities that serve communities located in an area from Hornepayne, north of Sault Ste. Marie, to Espanola, east of Sault Ste. Marie and points in between. The Board wishes to establish a contract for a period of two (2) years, with an option for a third, for electrical maintenance and repair services for all schools and facilities in its jurisdiction. The scope of work includes the provision of electrical services on an "as needed and where requested" basis including emergency responses and at the discretion of the Manager of Plant Services. Additional work or major individual projects in schools and facilities may be requested through further tender or quotation, at HSCDSB's discretion. 1.2 HSCDSB wishes to establish a contract for electrical maintenance and repair services for all facilities within the Boards' geographical area. 1.3 The type of work required will include, but is not limited to, repair, replacement and maintenance of electrical components. The services shall include, but not be limited to: o Electrical conduit and wiring o Lighting systems and lighting control systems o Receptacles and switches o Emergency lighting equipment o Power and conduit to other systems such as HVAC, generators and UPS's o Conduit systems for communication o Low voltage wiring for DDC o Electrical wiring for major appliances o Field/yard lighting o VFD drives o Heat trace systems o Sewer pump The Board shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions in any part of this RFP document. While the Board has used considerable efforts to ensure an accurate representation of information in this RFP document, the information is not guaranteed or warranted to be accurate by the Board.
