TO ALL SUPPLIERS: The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board (HSCDSB), hereinafter referred to as "the Board" has facilities that serve communities located in an area from Hornepayne, north of Sault Ste. Marie, to Espanola, east of Sault Ste. Marie and points in between. The Board wishes to establish a contract for a period of two (2) years with an option for a third for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) services for all schools and facilities in its jurisdiction. RFP INFORMATION AND SCOPE OF WORK 1.1 The scope of work includes the provision of HVAC services "as needed and where requested" at the discretion of the Manager of Plant Services, including emergency responses. Additional work for major projects in schools and facilities may be requested through quotation or tender process. 1.2 It is the Board's intention to award this contract to multiple contractors based on geographical area or at the owner's discretion. Proponents are not required to bid on all areas. However, if bidding on a location in the north or east, all sites within that group must be bid on. The Board shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions in any part of this RFP document. While the Board has used considerable efforts to ensure an accurate representation of information in this RFP document, the information is not guaranteed or warranted to be accurate by the Board.
