Reference the RFP Title when making inquiries. The City of Adelanto (City) is seeking qualified professional firms (Consultants) to submit a proposal to provide professional services to develop Safe Streets for All Action Plan for the City. Proposals shall conform to the provisions set forth herein. The objective is to enter a contract to do the requested work. Conversely, the City shall retain the right to terminate the Contract without cause at any time. The work performed by the selected consultant will be provided on a task order basis. Each task order will be pre-authorized by the City's representative on an as-needed basis with a detailed task order scope and a specific task order budget and schedule for completion. The consultant will perform the following tasks to facilitate delivering the required Safe Streets And Roads For All (SS4A) Grant elements. Consultants must provide a detailed approach with their submission as to how each project task is to be accomplished. If based on consultant knowledge, the consultant believes the scope of work outlined in this RFP should be changed in any way or is too ambitious, the consultant must suggest changes in the proposal and describe how those changes will better meet the project objectives. The Consultants must provide a detailed approach with their submission as to how each project task is to be accomplished. CITY reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, negotiate modifications to proposals that it deems acceptable, to request and consider additional information from any proposer, and to waive minor irregularities and technical defects in this proposal process. CITY reserves the right to seek new proposals when it determines that it is in the best interest to do so.
