Improvements will be grading, paving, chain link fencing and gates and sport court pavement surfacing associated with the construction of eight new Pickleball Courts and two new Tennis Courts adjacent to the existing four tennis courts. Scott County Government will receive bids to furnish all labor and materials to complete the work indicated in the Bid Documents for the: Great Crossing Park - Sport Courts 135 Betsy Way Georgetown, Kentucky 40324. The Project shall make improvements to a portion of the existing Great Crossing Park. Improvements will be grading, paving, chain link fencing and gates and sport court pavement surfacing associated with the construction of eight new Pickleball Courts and two new Tennis Courts adjacent to the existing four tennis courts. There is one Alternate to resurface the four existing tennis courts, to be included with the bid package for Sport Court Pavement Surfacing, see the Project Manual and Cover Sheet of the Drawings for additional information and requirements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids that is in the best interest of the Owner. Note it is the intent of Scott County Government to act as the Construction Manager for the Project; as such work scope has been separated into Bid Packages. Review the Bid Package descriptions for details and requirements, and submit bids where indicated on the Form of Proposal. Combination bids for work scope are also included. The Owner will evaluate all bids to determine the selected bid scopes and / or combination bids. All bidders are encouraged to review the site prior to submitting bids. The Project Schedule requires Substantial Completion for each Bid Package as follows (see Project Manual for additional definition of Bid Packages and requirements): Bid Package 1 EPSC, Earthwork and DGA Base - 30 calendar days from notice to proceed. Bid Package 2 Asphalt Paving - 45 calendar days from notice to proceed. Bid Package 3 Chain Link Fencing and Gates - 90 days from notice to proceed. Bid Package 4 Sport Court Surfacing - 90 days from notice to proceed, weather dependent. Bid Package 5 Combination Bid (General Contractor) - 90 days from notice to proceed, weather dependent. Final Completion shall be 30 days from Substantial Completion for each Bid Package. Liquidated damages will be assessed at a rate of $250 / day for both Substantial Completion and Final Completion if the completion date is not met.
