The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry & Fire Protection, is soliciting bids for a qualified vendor to provide retardant tank refurbishment on an as-needed basis at its large air tanker bases in Fairbanks, Palmer, Kenai, and Tanacross, Alaska. The vendor will be responsible for inspections, repairs, modifications, recoating, and transport of the tanks, ensuring they meet all required engineering and safety standards. This contract aims to maintain the operational readiness and uniformity of equipment across all bases. Registration must be in writing and may be made via email to madelyn.lowe@alaska.gov.
