DESCRIPTION: Perform the removal and proper disposal of an existing unit and installing a new fully operational Turnkey Trane IntelliPak1 60-Ton Roof Top Unit (RTU) package air conditioning unit with variable speed compressors, coated condenser coils, R454B refrigerant, and must be fully compatible with the existing building air conditioning control system (Tracer) and provide certified test and balance. Contractor shall include a warranty of for labor, parts, refrigerant, installation, and craftsmanship for a period of five (5) years from final acceptance Bid number 454953-3-52-01 PROJECT LOCATION: 719 South Woodland Boulevard, DeLand, FL 32720 QUESTIONS: Submit all questions to d5fcoprocurement@dot.state.fl.us by 3:00 PM local time on October 4, 2024. Responses will be posted at electronic by 3:00 PM local time on October 8, 2024 PREQUALIFICATION: Each bidder shall submit a current license issued by the State of Florida (Certified Mechanical & Certified Air Conditioning Contractor) a Trane Certification for Start-Ups and BAS Program, is required for the work. If a Florida Corporation, a copy of the Corporate Charter as prequalification of their eligibility with the bid document to the Department of Transportation, Contracts Administration Office: 719 South Woodland Boulevard, DeLand, FL 32720. If the bid amount exceeds $100,000, the bidder must provide with the bid, a Bid Guaranty of five percent (5%) of the actual total bid in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, treasurers check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a surety Bid Bond made payable to the Department of Transportation. If the contract award amount exceeds $100,000, both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond of 100% each of the contract sum are required at the time of award.
