Independently and not as an agent of the District, the Contractor shall furnish all the necessary qualified personnel, materials, supplies, and equipment not otherwise provided by the District, and do all things necessary to provide Serving Line Equipment. BACKGROUND Mission Consolidated Independent School District is a recognized leader in college and career readiness in the Rio Grande Valley with a comprehensive curriculum to meet the needs of all students. Educational excellence is available to each student whose parents choose to send their children to a Mission CISD school. The employees are committed to providing excellence in education to give each child the opportunity for success. Mission CISD consists of roughly 41 square miles tucked along the Texas/Mexico border in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. The District serves about 14,500 students in the City of Mission and the neighboring communities of Alton, Palmhurst, and McAllen. The District employs about 2,200 people. There are three high schools, four junior high schools (grades 6-8), 14 elementary schools (grades pk-5), and an alternative school to serve students considered to be at-risk. The high schools consist of two traditional/comprehensive schools and an early college high school. TERM OF CONTRACT The contract term, resulting from this solicitation, will commence upon the District's approval of the award and continue until satisfactory completion on or before March 2025. The District reserves the right to: Reject any/or all of the proposals and make award(s) as they may be advantageous to the District.
