REQUEST FOR INFORMATION - SOURCES SOUGHT NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER, AIRCRAFT DIVISION LAKEHURST, NJ Pump Refurbishment INTRODUCTION: This Request for Information (RFI) is issued pursuant to FAR 15.201(e) and in conformance with DFARS PGI 206.302. This is a Request for Information/Sources Sought notice to solicit comments, questions and feedback from industry regarding a planned refurbishment of a variable displacement axial piston hydraulic pump identified below. NAWCAD Lakehurst is requesting vendor sources with the capability of refurbishing said pump. Interested parties may submit technical literature/brochures on solutions that meet these material requirements. Any relevant information may also be submitted for consideration to aid in refinement of this requirement. THIS RFI IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: It is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible vendors capable of providing services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. ELIGIBILITY: The PSC for this requirement is J043 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Pumps and Compressors). NAICS is 811310 (Hydraulic equipment repair and maintenance services). SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating ability to meet the requirements outlined in the description. Responses must include 0600-RAST Pump Refurbishment in subject. This documentation must address, at a minimum, the following: Company Contact Information to include: Company Name, Company Address, Cage Code, Company Business Size, and Point-of-Contact (POC) name, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address. Company Profile to include: Number of employees and DUNS number; Statement regarding capability: If you are a small business, provide an explanation of your company's ability to perform at least 50% of the tasking described in the specifications. Maximum Displacement: 1.25 cubic inches/Rev Operating speed: 1500 - 3000 RPM (1800 RPM Nominal) Maximum Delivery Rate (Nominal) at 1800 RPM and 3000 PSI: 9.7 USGPM Operating pressure: 3000 PSIG Peak intermittent pressure: 4000 PSIG Maximum allowable case drain leakage rate: 1.2 USGPM System filtration level: 10 - 15 microns Pump compatible with Hydraulic fluid MIL-PRF-17672, Military Symbol 2075-T-H Pump Dimensions (approximate): Width: 9 in Height: 7 in Depth: 12 in Pump weight: 40 lbs.
