Scope of Work: *** Installation of New Sand in 5 Sandboxes *** Remove degraded sand from five (5) sandboxes. (Materials to be removed off-site)Install new playground sand in five (5) sandboxes. (Approximately 22 yards) *** Kindergarten Playground Mulch Renovation & Installation *** Loosen existing mulch around playset and swings. Install approximately 5,000 S.F. of certified playground mulch at a depth of 4 thick around the playscape and swings. *** Second Grade Playground Mulch Renovation & Installation *** Remove approximately 200 yards of existing mulch. (Materials to be removed off-site)Install / replace approximately 200 yards of mulch with certified playground mulch. All inquiries regarding this request shall be answered up to the close of business on September 16, 2024, after which time no additional questions will be accepted. All Inquiries and questions will be emailed to the BOE COO at dagostinom@oxfordpublicschools.org. Answers to all received questions will be emailed to the list of Bidders and posted on the Oxford Public School District website electronic . All work must be completed by Oct 1, 2024 The Board requires a performance bond from the successful bidder(s) in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) as a guarantee of fulfillment of the contract before a purchase order is awarded The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any requirements, irregularities, technical defects or service therein when it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Board of Education
