Demolition, Concrete, Precast Hallow Core, Masonry, Steel, General Trades, Roofing, Painting, Resinous Flooring, Fire Sprinklers, Plumbing/site Utilities, Hvac, Electrical, Earthwork/storm, and Sewers for the Construction Work Until the Bid Time and Date at the Location Given Below for the Belle-clair Fairgrounds Park - Exposition Building Expansion - Phases 1a & 1b. Successful bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work as noted in the project schedule. Bidders are required to provide a certified or cashier's check or bid bond executed by Bidder and approved Surety Company, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid amount. Successful bidders shall forfeit any surety required by the PBC upon failure on the bidder's part to enter into a contract within 10 days after the notice of award. Bids are required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and Bidders are hereby notified that employees and applicants of the contractor shall not be discriminated against in accordance with Illinois Labor Regulations. Federal Davis - Bacon Act also applies to the work as funding includes ARPA funds. Likewise, minority participation is encouraged, and Illinois NonDiscrimination rules and regulations apply. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond and a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract and Insurance, in a form acceptable to Owner, will be required of each successful Bidder. PBC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or proposals, to waive any inconsistencies or informalities in the bidding process, and to select the lowest responsible bid adjudged to best meet the requirements of the PBC, in the sole discretion of the PBC.
