The Work is generally described as follows: Provide new pump control cabinet with soft starts and extend the electrical canopy at the 460 East Wastewater Pump Station (WWPS) per drawings titled e460 East WWPS Electrical Control Upgradesi dated September 13, 2024. Provide new pump control cabinet and extend the electrical canopy at the Flat Creek WWPS per drawings titled eFlat Creek WWPS Electrical Control Upgradesi dated September 13, 2024. Re-locate and modify emergency generator from Flat Creek WWPS to the CCUSA Timberlake Office and provide a new emergency generator and ATS at the Flat Creek WWPS including providing a temporary generator at the Flat Creek WWPS per drawings titled eFlat Creek WWPS and Timberlake Office Generator Improvementsi dated September 13, 2024 The Work will be substantially complete within 450 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 480 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Bids must be accompanied by a Cashieris Check or acceptable Bid Bond for not less than 5 percent of the bid Bid award shall be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Whenever such low bid exceeds available funds, the Owner reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in order to obtain a contract price within funds available The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality so designated by the Code of Virginia in bids received.
