Proposals from qualified vendors ("Contractor" or "Bidder") to provide a full-time employee for On-Site Off-Shift and Weekend HVAC Mechanic/Building Operations Coverage for up to a six (6) month period. This is a full time position, with an eight (8) hour shift, beginning at 3:30 PM EST, Thursday through Monday or the other shift beginning at 11:30 PM, Thursday through Monday. An estimated 10%, or 200 hours, of optional overtime may be available. The position will report to an Upstate HVAC Supervisor, but could also take direction from the HVAC Manager, Day Shift HVAC Supervisor, or Shift Duty Engineer. This will only cover the period of October 11, 2024 through April 10, 2025 with the possibility of not needing services to continue before April 10, 2025. In accordance with New York State ("NYS") Lobbying Law 139 requirements, effective immediately, this procurement is in the "Restricted Procurement Period". This restricted period will be in effect until an award for this service has been fully executed. As this procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law 139-j&k, also referred to as the Lobbying Law, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual(s) listed in this advertisement and in the RFP document. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract to debarment from doing business with other NYS agencies. NYS Small Businesses and businesses certified pursuant to Article 15-A of the NYS Executive Law are encouraged to submit bids.
