Work to be performed under this contract includes necessary relocations and/or improvements to sanitary sewer, water service, and power system infrastructure. Anticipated Notice to Proceed: December 9, 2024 LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. The Streetcar Project consists of construction of a modern streetcar in the City of Omaha and extends from 40th Street to 10th Street along Farnam Street and from 31st Street to 10th Street along Harney Street. In addition, a loop extends from 10th Street to 8th Street and Capitol Avenue to Farnam Street. The Work under this Contract constitutes a portion of the overall Project and is located between 40 th Street and Turner Blvd along Farnam Street. B. Work to be performed under this Contract consists of improvements to the gravity sewer system and water main system including, but is not limited to, lining gravity sewers and service laterals, replacement of sewer manholes, installation of new or replacement gravity sewer at select locations, installation of new water distribution main, installation of new water transmission main at 38th Street, installation of new water services, hydrants, installation of new power duct bank and all other Work required in accordance with the Contract Documents. C. Contracting Method: The Project will be constructed under a single prime construction Contract.
