This Project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement of compliance with prevailing wage requirements by the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code To comply with the skilled and trained workforce requirement pursuant to Public Contract Code, 2600, all contractors must agree to be bound by the District's Project Labor Agreement. The Request for Proposals ("RFP"), which includes instructions for its completion, is enclosed for your consideration. Respondents to this RFP shall submit a completed Statement of Qualifications ("SOQ") along with the Proposal (collectively "RFP Packet"). Plan for Basis of Submitting Proposal attached hereto as Exhibit B). o Construction includes but not limited to: campus wide exterior and interior painting, classroom floor replacement, replace whiteboards and tackboards in classrooms, toilet room accessibility improvements, addition of new security cameras, site accessibility improvements, kindergarten/TK classroom relocation, modernization of existing building for admin use, redesign of main parking lot including repaving and restriping, removal of three (3) existing apparatus and replace with new, new PC shade structures, replacing existing built up roofing, HVAC upgrades, new landscape throughout site including replacement of existing irrigation systems, new PC modular buildings, new PC shade structure with photovoltaics in parking lot, modernization of existing kitchen facilities, interior remodel of administration area, new fencing throughout site, replacement of the existing storm drain, sanitary sewer, and domestic water line to edge of buildings. o Respondents are required in their Proposal either to identify their Prefabricated Modular Building subcontractor or to commit to provide modular buildings themselves (including demonstrating in their Proposal that the Respondent has in-house capability to timely supply modular buildings that can meet the basis of design criteria). o Expected key features of the building include but are not limited to: o Building PC or Prefabricated Construction o 7,400 sf building (size to be finalized during preconstruction services) o Single-story construction
