Suwannee County is seeking qualified responses for the repair and/or replacement of existing fencing across Suwannee County properties damaged during Hurricane Idalia. Question Deadline: Wednesday, October 16, 2024, 5:00 pm. Late questions will not be answered. Any questions concerning specifications and/or bid documents should be directed in writing to Mr. Marcus Durham, suwanneemaint@gmail.com, and Ms. Holland Freeman, hollandf@suwcountyfl.gov. The following are the list of requirements for all sites with repair or replacement needs within Suwannee County properties. o Remove all damaged fencing materials. o Repair all damaged fences at designated locations, included but not limited to: o Chain link wire o Field fence wire o Line post o Metal t-post o Corner post o Top rail o Post clamps o Miscellaneous fasteners o Concrete o Etc. o All materials shall meet or exceed the grade of existing materials. o Any required site work. o All work shall be performed in such a way as to not impede normal operation of facilities. o All work shall be performed to the highest level of workmanship. o 9-gauge wire is the requirement for all wire fencing.
