The Town of Mooresville (Owner) will receive sealed bids for the following project: Water Treatment Plant No.1 Renovations The work will consist of construction of a new 1 MG clearwell, pump station, associated yard piping, new generator, and replacement of existing high service pump control valves, existing filter backwash troughs, and venturi meter and vault. Estimate for construction is $8,400,000. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum or unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All payments are to be made to Duncan Parnell. Prospective Bidders must purchase Bidding Documents directly through Duncan Parnell in order to be considered an official plan holder. The Online portal will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through online. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Instructions to Bidders - For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. ADA Compliance - A qualified interpreter for the hearing impaired is available upon request at least 10 (ten) days in advance of the bid opening date. Bids may be held by the Town of Mooresville for a period not to exceed ninety one (91) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating qualifications of bidders.
