Sarpy County is seeking a qualified contractor for the demolition of the old Sarpy County Law Enforcement Center and the subsequent construction of parking and landscaping of the site. The County is using a Construction Manager at Risk for this Project. Question Deadline 10/08/2024 at 10:00 AM CT online submission. Scope of Project The Jail is located at 1208 Golden Gate Drive, Papillion, NE 68046. The Jail was built in 1989 and is a multilevel structure of approximately 54,088 square feet. The Jail is composed of masonry and reinforced concrete, as well as other materials. The Construction Manager shall investigate and plan the demolition of the Jail in conjunction with the Countys selected architectural/engineering firm and representatives of the County. The Construction Manager shall prepare the Jail and site for demolition, demolish the Jail, and remove all debris from the site. The Construction Manager shall then construct parking and landscaping according to the plans. Connection of the Courthouse Campus to the Pinnacle Bank Building includes construction of drives between buildings and the elimination of some curb cuts along Golden Gate Drive and throughout the property. This work will need to be phased which must be coordinated with the County.
