Maculloch Drive Manhole Improvements A contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest bid, as set forth in the Contract Documents, the right being reserved by the Township to reject all proposals or any proposal which may be informal or the acceptance of which for any other reasons would be detrimental to the best interests of the Township, and to waive informalities. All bids must be made on the forms furnished by the Township. Bids on any other forms will not be accepted. .Bidders must download the documents and become a registered plan holder as plan holder's receive automatic notice of addenda and bid updates. Only registered bidders will be allowed to submit a bid. Interested parties may view the bidding documents at no cost prior to deciding to become a plan holder. . Question Deadline 09/25/2024 All questions regarding the bid shall submitted on the online platform and to be given consideration, must be received at least ten (10) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the Township of Montville, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but in no case less than $20,000.00, must be deposited by the bidder. Bids shall be addressed to the Purchase Agent, Township Administrator's Office, Township of Montville, 195 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ 07045. Each Proposal must be enclosed in a SEALED ENVELOPE, properly endorsed with the name of the Bidder, with the designation "MACULLOCH DRIVE MANHOLE IMPROVEMENTS" Any envelope that is received that is not properly marked causing it to be opened prior to the bid will be invalidated. Bids may be received before the hour designated in this office, if they are mailed or hand delivered in person. The Township of Montville will not be responsible for any bid that is sent by mail or other form of carrier which is lost or which arrives after the bid date and time.Bidders shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements set forth in N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, waive informalities therein, and to award the bid in the best interest of the Township.
