Sheridan County School District commonly known as Gordon-Rushville Public Schools (the "School District"), is requesting bids from qualified individuals or entities for a building construction project to construct a lift addition at the School District's high school. The project location is Gordon-Rushville High School, 810 N. Oak St., Gordon, NE 69343. The project site will be available for on-site work to commence on or about May 27, 2025. Substantial completion of the project must be achieved by August 6, 2025. All questions, inquiries, or requests for clarification or site inspection should be submitted in writing to Tim Ripp, AIA, at tim.ripp@clarkenersen.com. Architect will provide responses to bidders' questions at Pre-Bid Conference by Addendum. Schedule. (1) May 27, 2025: On-Site Commencement (2) August 6, 2025: Substantial Completion Rejection Bids and Waiver of Informalities. The School District reserves the right (a) to terminate the bid process at any time; (b) to reject any or all bids; and (c) to waive formalities and minor irregularities in the bids received. The School District further reserves the right to conduct a pre-award survey of any firm or individual under consideration to confirm any of the furnished information or to require other evidence of managerial, financial, technical and other capabilities, the positive establishment of which is determined by the School District to be necessary for the successful performance of the contract. The School District further reserves the right to cancel or amend the invitation to bid at any time and will notify all recipients accordingly. A. To secure the faithful performance of the work and to satisfy all of Bidder's payment obligations that arise on the project, the successful Bidder will be required to provide a payment bond in an amount not less than 100% of the Contract Sum through a corporate surety company, conditioned for the payment of all laborers and mechanics for labor that is performed and for the payment for material and equipment rental which is actually used or rented in the performance of the Contract. B. The successful Bidder will also be required to provide a performance bond in an amount not less than 100% of the Contract Sum through a corporate surety company.
