This request for qualifications and solutions (the "RFQS") is issued by Fraser Health for the purpose of procuring Long Term Care Services in the Fraser Health Region that requires New Construction and does not involve the decommissioning of any funded beds located in buildings currently providing Long Term Care Services for Fraser Health. Fraser Health is seeking Responses and Solution Proposals for approximately 580 new funded beds at Facilities located in the Fraser Health Region. This request for qualifications and solutions (the "RFQS") is issued by Fraser Health for the purpose of procuring Long Term Care Services in the Fraser Health Region that requires New Construction and does not involve the decommissioning of any funded beds located in buildings currently providing Long Term Care Services for Fraser Health. Fraser Health is seeking Responses and Solution Proposals for approximately 580 new funded beds at Facilities located in the Fraser Health Region, distributed in each of the following Health Service Delivery Areas as follows: Fraser East: approximately 150 beds Fraser North: approximately 150 beds Fraser South: approximately 280 beds The approximate number of beds set out above for each Health Service Delivery Area may be located in the same Facility or among multiple Facilities within such Health Service Delivery Area. Fraser Health may, at its discretion, procure more or fewer beds for New Construction than the approximate numbers set out above (overall and within a particular Health Service Delivery Area), which are provided as an estimate only. Fraser Health is seeking Responses that will lead to New Construction that will result in the delivery of high quality Long Term Care Services at the best value for Fraser Health. Fraser Health is seeking Respondents with experience in providing Long Term Care Services that can demonstrate a commitment to the New Construction and the delivery of Long Term Care Services in compliance with Fraser Health's requirements and Applicable Laws, while operating independently in a sustainable and effective manner. Facilities proposed should be in alignment with the Building Requirements included in Appendix F of this document. Examples of New Construction include, but are not limited to: construction of a new Facility on land that is not currently occupied by a long term care building; construction of a new Facility on land where a current long term care building exists but where the new Facility will not replace any funded beds where Long Term Care Services are currently provided for Fraser Health; and construction of a new addition to a current long term care building that is not intended to replace any current beds where funded Long Term Care Services are provided for Fraser Health and does not involve the renovation of any areas were such currently funded beds are located.
