Walnut Branch GLO Phase 1 Drainage Project. Scope Project improvements along Walnut Branch within the City of Seguin at 3 project locations: 1. The low water crossing at San Antonio Ave and Walnut Branch will be replaced with a bridge-class culvert to pass the 100-year flood and eliminate the risk of drivers proceeding into floodwaters. 2. The Aldama Street intersection at Kingsbury St is a low water crossing and the only access to a residential neighborhood. Aldama will be elevated with a culvert installed to prevent roadway flooding. 3. The low water crossing at Williams Street and Walnut Branch will be removed and the roadway permanently closed. General items are listed below with specific quantities included in the bid manual: - Concrete/Asphalt removal (3,430 SY) - Asphalt pavement (2,618 SY) - Concrete sidewalk/driveway (950 SY) - Concrete Box Culverts (523 LF) - Storm sewer pipe (439 LF) - Concrete riprap (238 CY) - Sanitary sewer pipe (109 LF) - Water pipe (384 LF) Question Deadline 10/11/2024 Questions regarding interpretation of specifications, bids, bid results or bid awards should be directed in writing to the Buyer indicated in the General and/or Technical Specifications or to the Purchasing Manager, ABruns@SeguinTexas.gov and be referenced by bid number and bid title.
