Project No. 92601, 092601 Description of Work: Work can be summarized as follows. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, insurance, and services to convert room 6145, a (383) SF space on the 6th floor of Biology ll, Bldg. 571 into two procedure rooms intended for neuroimaging research. The scope of work includes but not limited to conversion of one room, 383 SF in area, into two research rooms. The work will comprise of adding a demising wall, new doors and hardware, additional layer of Gypsum Board at interior side of walls and ceilings for acoustic separation, lighting and electrical receptacles, mechanical equipment and supply and exhaust ducting, ceiling mounted rigging rails intended for suspending cameras and instrumentation, wire cable baskets and new paint and flooring. Scope of Work will include modifying the 6th floor restroom facilities to bring them into 2022 CBC Code Compliance. The designated building for the project is an active research facility engaged in sensitive experimental research. Estimated Construction Cost: $319,380. Bid Security: Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Lump Sum Base Bid shall accompany each Bid.
