Reference Number: 0000363314 Invites sealed Bids for Willows and Jasmine Pump Station Rehabilitation for installation of a new submersible style pump station adjacent to the location of existing Jasmine Sewer Pump Station, construction of approximately 1,250 linear feet of gravity sewer and demolition of the existing Willows and Jasmine Pump Stations, and services inherent to the Work. Substantial Completion: April 30, 2026. Final Completion: June 1, 2026. The Project being bid is subject to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M. This Project is to be funded wholly or in part with monies made available through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and compliance with certain Federal provisions is required A pre Bid conference will not be held. Bidders with disabilities or hardships that seek reasonable accommodations, which may include the receipt of the Bidding Documents, related information and/or addenda and/or modifications in an alternative format, must communicate such requests in writing to the Contact Person above, and reasonable accommodation will be made by agreement with the Contact Person on behalf of the Town of North Andover. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany the Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing wage rates as issued by the Director of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, Department of Labor Standards under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive, as amended, apply to this Project. It is the responsibility of the Bidders, before Bid opening, to request, if necessary, any additional information on prevailing wage rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under the resulting Contract. Federal Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the United States Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act also apply to this Project. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner further reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder whom it finds, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, not to be responsible or eligible or not to meet the specified qualification or quality requirements, based on poor references or otherwise. Owner also reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. Award is subject to available funding. All questions/inquiries must be received by 10:00 a.m. local time on October 8, 2024 to be answered. Questions received thereafter may not be answered. Questions concerning the Bidding Documents must be submitted in writing Via Online.
