Description: This project, located in Cecil County, is for the construction of a portion of MD 222 (Perryville Road). Beginning south of the intersection of MD 222 and Cedar Corner Road and extending in a northernly direction to St Marks Church Road for a total distance 0.58 miles. The work will consist of the following: (a) New sidewalk construction (b) Stormwater management facility (c) Storm drain installation and outfall stabilization (d) Landscaping (e) Signing and pavement marking (f) Roadway paving and minor widening County: Cecil Cost of Plans: $0.00 Contract No.: CE2475179 Classification: D Funding: Federal F.A.P. Number: AC-CM-G-285-1(011)E Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids. MDDOT - 101 - MD 222 (Perryville Road) From Cedar Corner Road to St. Marks Church Road Sidewalks Estimated Value: $1,000,001 to $2,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Install and maintain erosion and sediment control (ESC) measures and best practices throughout the duration of the Contract as specified in the Contract Documents, regulations, regulatory approvals, and regulatory permits.
