A. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. The project consists of interior renovations at the front entry and front administrative offices area. The work consists of, but is not limited to, selective demolition, new construction of steel stud framed walls, gypsum wallboard, typical interior finishes (flooring, paint, wall base), casework, aluminum storefront framing, misc. HM frames and wood doors, door hardware, window replacement, security transaction window installation, minor electrical and mechanical modifications work. B. Type of Contract 1. The Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. C. Contractor shall take any and all means necessary to ensure completion by the contracted date of Substantial Completion, including overtime, weekend work, multiple shifts, additional work force, etc. The project consists of the renovation of existing Secure Entry modifications, misc. interior Office renovations. Thework consists of, but is not limited to, minor selective demolition of existing interior wall partitions, installation of one new steel column and beam, one exterior window replacement, interior storefront and secure pass thru window, doors, interior metal framed walls, gypsum board, associated interior finishes (paint, flooring, casework, suspended acoustical ceiling systems, electrical, minor mechanical work. The project is located at 269 Dare Blvd, Camdenton, MO. It is anticipated that the Owner will make a final determination regarding the bids/GC and make notification as to whom the project shall be awarded within 2-weeks following the receipt of bids. At such time the Owner will issue a Notice to Proceed and will initiate the Owner-Contractor Agreement. Bidders shall submit a bid in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual. The Contractor's company shall have been in business for at least five (5) consecutive years under the current name and ownership and shall be financially sound and solvent. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and may waive any or all informalities in the bid process. The Owner's decision regarding the approval/denial of bids are based on various factors such as, but not limited to, bid value, quality and service. All decisions shall be final. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of Thirty (30) days subsequent to the specified time for receipt of bids.
