The City of Menlo Park (City) is seeking quotes from qualified Contractors with a Class A, C36 or C42 license to purchase and install twenty-two (22) Connector Pipe Screens, or other appropriate storm drain trash capture devices (i.e. catch basin insert), in storm drain inlets throughout the City. The City has identified 22 proposed small-scale full trash capture devices to be installed (hereinafter referred to as "catch basin inserts"). The Citys existing catch basin inserts are United Stormwater, Inc. Connector Pipe Trash Screens and maintenance staff are already familiar with them (Appendix A). The City prefers installing Connector Pipe Trash Screens at the 22 proposed locations, but will consider alternate State-approved certified devices. See Appendix B for the list of proposed locations and Appendix C for the list of certified trash capture devices Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 09/23/2024 5:00 PM (PDT) The City intends to execute the contract to the most qualified contractor. The contract may be awarded at the discretion of the Menlo Park City Council. The City of Menlo Park reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes received as a result of this request, to negotiate with any qualified source, or to cancel in part or in its entirety this RFQ. Proposals and materials submitted will become the property of the City and will not be deemed confidential or proprietary and are subject to public record and may be released upon request.
