Crossland Heavy Contractors has been recently awarded the contract for Construction Manager at Risk for the Collector Well Pumphouse and Raw Infrastructure Improvements. The project includes the construction of collector well pumphouses, vertical wells, raw water transmission mains and appurtenances, and other improvements to their raw water infrastructure. The facilities will be located along the Platte River near Ashland, NE. Phase 2 will include pipe procurement, trenchless excavation, erosion control, earthwork, and pipeline installation. The City is not responsible for this solicitation. The City is not a party to the contract that may be established from this solicitation. Cost will be a major factor in determining the awarded Contractor; however, the award may not go to the lowest cost bidder. The City of Lincoln-Lancaster County Purchasing Division provides equal opportunity for all Proposers and encourages minority businesses and women's business enterprises to participate in our bidding process. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders for this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order 11246, as amended. The City of Lincoln, NE reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the proposal deemed to be in the best interests of the City. The City of Lincoln further reserves the right to withhold the awarding of the contract for a period not to exceed 90 days after the receipt of bids.
