The intent of the City is to procure the services of one (1) qualified State of Florida General Contractor for Construction Services. The project will complete the construction of Floresta Drive from Crosstown Parkway to Prima Vista Boulevard. The project will be administered by the Public Works CIP & Half-Cent Sales Tax Project Management Group. The corridor improvements will include, but are not limited to, the following: o Floresta Drive Phase 3 o Clearing and grubbing o Earthwork o Erosion control o Pre-construction video of existing RCP o Drainage modifications o Baffle Box construction o Swale maintenance o Utility relocation o Roadway widening o Turn lane extensions o Construction of concrete sidewalk o Signing and pavement markings o Signalization work o Landscaping and irrigation o D -11 Canal Improvements o Clearing and grubbing o Earthwork o Erosion/Sediment control o Drainage modifications o Canal maintenance o Utility relocation o Fencing installation o Construction of concrete bulkheads o Monitor Existing Structures o Sheet Piling o Landscaping o Intersection Improvements at Prima Vista Blvd. o Clearing and grubbing o Earthwork o Erosion control o Pre-construction video o Monitoring existing structures o Drainage modifications o Swale maintenance o Utility relocation o Roadway widening o Turn lane extensions o Construction of concrete sidewalk o Signing and pavement markings o Signalization work o Lighting o Landscaping and irrigation The work shall be in accordance with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Plans and Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (FY 2022-2023). The Contractor is to provide a complete project as shown and described in the contract documents, bid specifications and project plan set prepared by CONSOR Engineering, Inc. consisting of the following: o "Construction Plans for Floresta Drive Phase 3" prepared by CONSOR Engineering, Inc. o "Construction Plans for D-11 Drainage Canal Improvement Project," prepared by CONSOR Engineering, Inc. o "Construction Plans for St. Lucie County Prima Vista Boulevard Median Improvements" prepared by CONSOR Engineering, Inc. The Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, labor, and equipment necessary for a complete project based on all specifications and any Contract amendments that may be deemed necessary. The Contractor shall provide Maintenance of Traffic as required by the governing standards. The construction Contract period is one thousand ninety-five (1095) calendar days with no option for renewal. The Contractor shall provide record drawings. The Contractor must have all required licenses and certifications necessary to perform this work. The approved license for this work includes a State of Florida General Contractor License. The Contractor shall be FDOT MOT certified. It is the Contractor's responsibility to verify with the City's Building Department that they possess the proper licenses and certifications to perform the work prior to submitting a bid. As this project is immediately adjacent the St. Lucie River and is intersected by major drainage canals, the Contractor shall take all necessary steps to plan for stormwater management and maintenance for the life of the project. Project Estimated Budget $50,000,000.00 The City of Port St. Lucie reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any and all informalities or irregularities, to negotiate with any qualified Proposers, and to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal as it may deem to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City.
