The project site is located: C-65(728) - on Road 2700 between Road C and Road D, in Nuckolls County, Nebraska. The project is referred to as "Bostwick Southwest, C-65(728) Installation" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required to install: C-65(728) - twin 132" x 40' corrugated metal pipes on a 0-degree skew, with steel headwalls attached and wingwalls. The sealed bids may be mailed or delivered to the County Clerk of Nuckolls County, County Courthouse, 150 S. Main Street, Nelson, Nebraska 68961, and should be plainly marked as, "Construction Bid Proposal - Bostwick Southwest, C-65(728) Installation". Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the County Treasurer of Nuckolls County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. The desired completion date for the site is March 1, 2025. The successful bidder (i.e. Contractor) will be allowed twenty-eight (28) calendar days for completion of the site after beginning work at the site, provided they do not exceed their specified completion date. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the Engineer. Copies of the Bid Documents and Specifications are open to public inspection at the office of the Nuckolls County Clerk, 150 S. Main Street, Nelson, Nebraska 68961. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to the acceptance by the Nuckolls County Board of Commissioners. The Nuckolls County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received. Award of the Contract will be in accordance with the County Purchasing Act's competitive bidding considerations as set forth in Neb.Rev.Stat. 233110 to 23-3114.
