Reference Number: 0000363147 Request for Quotes Purchase and Installation of Baffle Curtain for City of Jacksonville Wastewater Treatment Plant This RFQ is for the procurement and installation of one (1) 241' X 13.75' Reinforced, 8130 XR-5 (or equivalent) Effluent Baffle Curtain with the following specifications: Flotation: 6 inch diameter flotation collar; polyethylene foam log, buoyancy 62 lbs/cubic ft. Tension Cable: 3/8 inch diameter, 7 X 19 Stainless Steel aircraft cable, 12,000 lb breaking strength. Ballast Chain: 5/8 inch diameter, proof coil, grade 30, galvanized steel chain for bottom ballast, 4.06 lbs/ft. The chain must be dielectrically sealed in the hem on the bottom of the curtain. Collar End Connection: Two (2) 1/8 inch X 1.5 inch X 12 inch Stainless Steel plates bolted together with 7/16" Stainless Steel bolts every three inches on center. Selected Vendor to furnish: All cable clamps, chain and rapid links for connecting to end posts. All materials, labor and equipment necessary for quality control testing of the geosynthetics per the manufacturer's specifications. Baffle drawings and details. Warranty information for proposed product. Freight included in price - equipment shall be shipped to 716 Firetower Road Jacksonville NC 28540.
