This SOO describes the scope of work, objectives, tasks, and resources needed to successfully fulfill the Department of Transportation CCTV Modernization project to advance the organizations physical security mission. This project will require the procurement and installation of new CCTV equipment and software. CCTV cameras will be modernized to mitigate existing hardware limitations. 13 cameras will be replaced and converted from Analog to Digital which will enhance situational awareness for the DOT guard force. IP Cameras provide a higher definition quality of video as well as introduce newer technologies to assist with the physical security mission. To maintain Security Camera System enterprise interoperability responses to this SOO must utilize Bosch Systems components. Anticipated Cabling and Electrical requirements are the responsibility of the Government. Period of Performance One Hundred Eighty (180) days from date of award. Place of Performance Department of Transportation Headquarters (DOTHQ) 1200 New Jersey Ave SE Washington, DC 20590 All prospective offerors are hereby invited, and are strongly encouraged, to have NOT MORE THAN two of their company-representatives attend a ONE-hour 10:00-11:00 AM pre-proposal WALK-THROUGH of the DOT work-site, by reporting, by 09:45 AM on SEPTEMBER 20, 2024, to the building-lobby, and near the security-screening-station, at the SOUTHEAST FEDERAL CENTER located at 1200 New Jersey Avenue SE Washington, DC 20590. The walk-through meeting will begin in that building's lobby near the security screening station at 10:00 AM on September 20, 2024. Each contractor-company-attendee must provide valid photo identification (driver's license, passport, PIV/CAC card) in the lobby of that building and must undergo security screening in the lobby of that building. You will be escorted in the walk-through by an employee of DOT's Office of Security. It is currently estimated that Mr. Rod Stephens and Mr. Joseph Geraci, of DOT's Office of Security, will escort all of the contractor-company-attendees in the walk-through.
