SCOPE OF WORK: This Contract is for the restoration of the lake banks of Gateway Lakes 75 and 81 as specified herein. Restoration shall be accomplished by use of an anchor reinforced vegetation system (ARVS), non-woven geotextile, or other repair cross section as shown on the Drawings. The Work consists of furnishing all labor, all equipment, and materials (see below) required for construction, consisting of but not limited to the following: Providing all surveying and field engineering services to establish vertical and horizontal datum and control. Staking residential lot lines, lake maintenance easement locations, and all other services necessary to complete the work as required by the contract documents. All excavation, fill, and compaction required to establish a consistent slope along the lake as shown on the Drawings. Installation of an ARVS and/or non-woven geotextile along the perimeter of the lake as shown on the Drawings. Installation of littorals and trees along the perimeter of the lake as shown on the Drawings. Removing trees, landscaping, and obstruction that are within the lake maintenance easement as shown on the plans. The contractor shall implement measures to mitigate any turbidity in the lakes caused by construction activities. This includes, but is not limited to, the application of a flocculant or other suitable chemical agents to facilitate the aggregation and settling of suspended particles, thereby reducing turbidity levels in the lake post construction. The DISTRICT will require a Bid Security/Bond and a Public Construction Bond on this project. Question Deadline 10/14/2024 at 12:00 PM ET
