The attention of proposers is called to the requirement for minimum wage rates to be paid under this contract. Introduction a. The Town Hall building is located at 820 Enfield St, in the Town of Enfield, Connecticut. b. The Town of Enfield invites sealed proposals for the complete removal and replacement of all deteriorated trim, millwork, flashing, gutter systems, lead-based paint removal and applicable painting and sealing to reach the following goals: i. Complete demolition of deteriorated areas and replacement of all affected exterior trim and millwork. ii. Remove all loose paint, sealants, and coating materials. iii. Prep trim systems for paint and sealants. iv. Apply appropriate paint, sealants, coatings to all millwork including but not limited to all columns, cupola, exposed wood/FPM trim, gutter boxes, doors, etc. v. Repair and replacement of deteriorated Yankee gutter system including but not limited to downspouts, gutter boxes, gutters, splash blocks. vi. Watertight sealing of entire Yankee gutter system with approved sealants. vii. Replacement of all deteriorated millwork surrounding Yankee gutter system. viii. All millwork contours shall remain and be matched by new Foam Plastic Moldings. ix. All gutter boxes and exposed trim to be sealed with appropriate waterproofing materials and coatings. x. Contain, confirm, and abate all applicable hazardous materials. xi. Add alternate to install break metal flashing around approximately 65 replacement windows. xii. Removal of all hazardous materials from the property in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and this RFP. xiii. All paint chips and debris to be removed from the property and the landscaping restored if disturbed. xiv. Scope is not limited to deteriorated areas indicated on drawings.
