Project bidding to previously prequalified general contractors. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, 2 inch cold milling and utility adjustments within specific limits in City of Anaheim. The Work consists of all labor, material, and equipment necessary to cold mill 2 inch within the limits shown on the Plan, as well as lower, raise, and protect in place all utilities within the limits. Final paving will be performed by City crews. Contractor will coordinate with City crew supervisor for dates to return to the site and adjust utilities to final grade and repair AC around all adjusted utilities. All work shall be per applicable standards of the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (Greenbook) 2015 edition, City of Anaheim standard plans and details, and right-of-way construction permit requirements. Prevailing wage requirements apply. Successful Bidder must submit a Schedule within 5 days of executing the Notice of Award. Schedule must identify each work day and planned work activities for each workday. Schedule is subject to approval by City staff and may require revision to accommodate schedules at the Work site. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of any of the documents shall make a written request to the City at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. Such requests shall be directed to the CITY address provided in the Invitation to Bidders.
