The City of Mission is accepting bids, from a contractor(s) to provide the following services for Purchase and Installation of Golf Ball Protective Netting for the All-Inclusive Lions Park. The City if looking for qualified contractors to provide and install 600 ft of golf ball protective netting and utility poles as needed to protect the All-Inclusive Playground, Splash Pad and associated areas from stray golf balls from neighboring golf course. Completion/Acceptance of Purchase and Installation of Golf Ball Protective Netting should not exceed fortyfive (45) calendar days. Exceeding the number of days shall result in rejection of bid. And the CONTRACTOR agrees that time is the essence of this contract, and that for each day of delay beyond the number of working days herein agreed upon for the completion of the work herein specified and contracted for (after due allowance for such extension of time as is provided for under Extension of Time herein) above the OWNER may withhold permanently for the CONTRACTOR'S total compensation the sum of two hundred fifty Dollars $250.00/per day __ as stipulated damages for such delay. This solicitation may be cancelled by the City before or after receipt of bids or proposals (as applicable). The bidder is specifically advised that the bid must be accompanied by a bid bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas, totaling five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guaranty that if awarded the bid, the bidder shall meet all specification requirements and delivery date(s). A certified cashier's check will be allowed in lieu of a bid bond for five (5%) of the total amount for the project. All required bonds shall be provided in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Performance Bond. The Contractor shall provide a Performance Bond if the contract amount exceeds $100,000. Payment Bond. The Contractor shall provide a Payment Bond if the contract amount exceeds $25,000.
