Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management is Conducting a Competitive Bid Process for the Statewide Building Controls Upgrade and Commissioning Across the State of Maine. The Purpose of This Project is to Provide Secure and Reliable Building Level Control for the Mearng's Energy and Water. Project Will Include the Replacing and Modernization of the Older Building Automation Control Systems (Bags) in Fourteen Buildings That Do Not Meet Current Rmf Standards With the Ngb Approved Tridium Niagra Bacs System. This Upgrade Will Increase the Mearng's Ability to Monitor and Control Approximately 95% of All the Mearng's Building Hvac Systems. It Will Greatly Increase the Efficiency of the Building Hvac Systems and the Results Will Include Reduced Risk and Increased Resiliency for the Mearng Mission, Reduced Energy Consumption, Provide Demand Management Capabilities and Enhanced Comfort for Personnel. Questions and comments regarding the project design specifications or drawings shall be directed in writing to the Consultant during the bid period prior to the question and comment deadline of 2:00 p.m. on 20 September 2024.
