The Work to be performed pursuant to this Request for Qualifications shall include review, project planning, design, engineering, and construction support for upgrade of the HVAC systems at various Kootenai County Facilities. See Appendix A for goal and description of each project. The County is seeking proposals to secure a firm to provide design, engineering and construction support services to replace HVAC systems in three separate facilities. Each building will be considered a standalone project with separate contracts awarded for each project to maintain cost control and differentiation for each project. The County reserves the right to award projects to one firm or multiple firms based on proposals and descriptions presented for each project. Further, each project may be broken into different phases based on building function and/or funding once complete costs are determined during contractor procurement. Projects to be categorized as: Juvenile Justice Center HVAC Replacement -Current funding allocated $400,000 Public Safety Building/Jail HVAC Replacement-Current funding allocated $570,340 Justice Center HVAC Replacement* *Funding has not yet been allocated for this project and is treated as an alternate project that could be included in this scope of work in 2025 or other approved funds may be reallocated.
