Project Description: (south of Central Ave, west of 127th Street East). Question Deadline 09/25/2024 at 12:00 PM CT Deadline to submit Questions online. Any questions prior to bid submittal should be directed to Matthew Schultze, P.E., Subdivision Engineer, at (316) 268-4235 or mschultze@wichita.gov. Effective August 1, 2024, vendors interested in Public Works & Utilities - Engineering bids are required to submit via Euna Procurement's Bonfire software platform for City Business Opportunities. A tentative effective date of October 1, 2024, has been set for ALL solicitations to be submitted through Bonfire. Attention All Bidders: a Bid Bond in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of The Total Bid or an Annual Bid Bond is Required Prior to Bid Opening. See Section 102.3 of the City of Wichita Standard Specifications for Further Information. Bidders Are Advised to Contact the Office of the City Engineer (316-268-4501) Should They Have Any Questions or Concerns About the Plans, Special or Supplemental Provisions, Minority Status, or the Proper Preparation of the Bid Document. The Bid Form Shall Be Prepared Using Prices Per Bid Items, Unless Otherwise Noted. Start Date. The work order on these projects shall be issued 30 (thirty) calendar days after the date on which the contract for these projects has been awarded to the successful bidder Completion Date. The work on these projects shall be completed within 30 (thirty) total working days for both projects from the date of beginning work for all projects and in accordance with the plans and Standard Specifications. Working days will be charged as provided for in the Standard Specifications, once the work order is issued. The non-availability of material shall not prevent working days from being assessed. Basis of Payment. Payment for the bid items will be as a lump sum/measured quantity amount based on the bid quantities and unit prices in the bid proposal.
