The Project includes the following Work: This project is to line or replace pipes along south side of Johnson Drive east of Maurer Rd and will include storm drainage improvements, removal/replacement of curb, sidewalks, and driveways as needed, pavement markings, and landscaping as needed. This project also includes grading, tree removal and replacement, fencing installation, and landscaping to improve sight distance at the northwest and southwest corners of Mauer Road and Johnson Drive. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Mauer Road and Johnson Drive - CMP Replacement and Sight Distance Improvements Project City of Shawnee, Johnson County, Kansas City Project No. 3580 The Project has a duration of 40 days from Notice to Proceed to reach Substantial Completion and 60 days from Notice to Proceed to reach Final Completion. The Owner anticipates the Notice to Proceed will be issued on approximately October 18, 2024. The project shall be completed prior to December 17, 2024. Each Bidder shall provide with their Bid a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check, in an amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Bid security will be returned to the unsuccessful Bidders as indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. The Contract will be awarded by the Governing Body of the Owner at the complete and sole discretion of such Governing Body. Question Deadline 09/27/2024
