Description of Work: The scope of work includes the paving or resurfacing of New Hope Road, to be completed using the method which is identified in the related bid documents. Roads included in this project are: New Hope Road, (1,251 LF X 20 FT) Question Deadline 10/03/2024 at 4:30 PM CT Bidders shall submit all questions, in writing, to the Purchasing Department at darraghl@jacksoncountyfl.gov. Pre-bidding questions regarding the project may be addressed to Lynsey Darragh, Procurement Officer, at darraghl@jacksoncountyfl.gov. The Jackson County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified contractors to perform roadway improvements on New Hope Road. Work shall be performed in accordance with Exhibit 2 Scope of Work. Samples of work to be included: Previous paving projects of similar nature, references related to previous similar projects, and various other items included in the documents. Special Accommodation: Any person requiring a special accommodation at a Pre-Bid Conference or Bid opening because of a disability should call the Purchasing Department at (850) 482-9633 at least five (5) workdays prior to the Pre-Bid Conference or Bid opening If the Contractor has questions regarding the application of Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, to the Contractor's duty to provide public records relating to this contract contact Judy Austin, Custodian of Public Records, at (850 482-9633, austinj@jacksoncountyfl.gov or 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, FL 32448.
