Question Deadline 09/20/2024 at 12:00 PM PT If any Bidder is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of this Request for Bid, or if additional information is required, Bidder shall submit a written request for clarifications or questions thereof by no later than and or via Email at: Procurements@sjrrc.com. The Project is going to be completed in two (2) phases. Phase one (1) will proceed at the time of contract award and will only be for the locations at 321 S Union and 1033 E Scotts Ave. Phase two (2) is for the remaining three locations at 1031 E Church, 1020 E Charter and 1030 E Church. Phase two (2) is anticipated to commence within ninety (90) days of contract award and is contingent on the receipt of the City of Stocktons Historic Demolition Permit. SJRRC submitted the historic demolition permit to the City of Stockton in August 2024 and it will be provided to the Contractor once it has been approved by the City of Stockton. The Contractor shall perform the following for all locations: o Demolition, removal, hauling and disposing of all above ground structures and facilities including all building components, framing, siding, electrical and mechanical equipment and misc. interior features. o Remove any on site debris that was caused by the removal and demolition activities. o The Contractor shall cut, remove and cap all water, sewer, electrical power and communication service lines at the street in accordance with the City of Stockton demolition permit requirements and standard plans. For the sewer service lines, the Contractor shall cap the sewer line as shown the City of Stockton plan S-18 in Exhibit D. In the event that the local service provider needs to perform the removal, the Contractor shall coordinate with the local service providers for their removal, as appropriate, prior to the demolition and removals of the above ground structures. o Disposal of materials shall be in accordance with all jurisdictional requirements for Lead and Asbestos materials. Results from Lead and Asbestos Testing has been provided in Exhibit B. o Use the City of Stockton approved haul and/or truck routes. See Exhibit C. o Obtain the necessary permits and approvals from the City of Stockton for demolition of the above ground structures and the hauling of materials on City streets. o Protect all site perimeter fencing in place. o Provide a schedule for completing each phase of the demolition and removals. o Remove other debris from the site including waste petroleum containers and tires.
