Question Deadline 09/19/2024 at 1:00 PM CT Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids: to replace and repair damaged W-Beam on I-80 West Bound 230.5 Mile Marker, located on the mainline shoulder side and median side. The estimated time frame below is for the start and completion of both scope's of work. While the scope's of work seem similar they are different and contractors are to ensure they are following the correct scope of work for the specified location. DOT Estimated Start Date: October 4th, 2024 DOT Estimated End Date: October 18th, 2024 This is project is exempt from state sales tax. Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Tanner Thomsen (see bid contact information) any and all questions related to this project included during a site visit are to be submitted to Tanner Thomsen in writing preferably through the Site. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and work capacity. One Purchase Order will be issued for this bid and line items will be tied.
